Dr. Douglas Vayda and Dr. Mark Holmberg are accredited orthodontists. This means that they are dental specialists who have completed advanced post-doctoral courses, accredited by the American Dental Association, of at least two academic years in the specialty of orthodontics.
Drs. Vayda and Holmberg are dedicated to creating outstanding smiles for their patients using the latest technology available.
Mark Holmberg
Dr. Mark Holmberg graduated with a dental degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He went on to the University of Illinois for his orthodontic training and certification. He served on the faculty at the University of Minnesota in the School of Dentistry and Division of Orthodontics from 1979 to 1994. He has maintained a practice limited to orthodontics in the Twin Cities since 1980.
Doug Vayda
Dr Doug Vayda received his dentistry degree form Ohio State University before going on to Harvard University for his orthodontic training and specialty certification. Later he taught orthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh in his hometown. Currently, he is a member of the faculty at the University of Minnesota and has maintained a practice lmited to orthodontics in the Twin Cities since 1994.
